My name is Rob " The General "Meola, I have been a active firefighter since 1996. I started my fire service career in Northern New Jersey, Passaic County with the Haledon Fire Department. I served on Engine Company #2 until 2003. I graduated the North Jersey Fire Academy and the Bergen County EMS Training Center as an EMT-A and Heavy Rescue Tech. I also served on Haledon EMS until 2006 with a total of 10 years of service. I held the ranks of LT, Captain and Rescue Captain. I have a 2 year degree in Emergency Management Concepts from Fredericksburg Community College and a BS in Criminal Justice from Stratford University. I relocated and transferred my fire service knowledge and experience to Burlington County, NJ serving in Pemberton Boro/Township, Southampton and Woodland Township Fire Departments. I held all ranks from LT up to Deputy Chief. I am currently serving on B.C. HAMMER 15, C.B.R.N.E. Emergency Response Team. From 2003-2005 I was a member of Lakewood Township Fire Department, Jr Hose Company #3. I graduated from the Fort Monmouth Fire Academy prior to their closer in 2011 as a nationally certified and accredited Fire Service Professional. My areas of special certification and training include RIT, Truck, Engine, Squad concepts. HazMat, Wild Land, Confined Space, High Angel and Vehicle Rescue. Open, Swift, Ice Rescue and SCUBA.
