Station 11 responds to multiple calls

All too often we forget how quickly the weather can change or even just how severe the storm can get. Today station 11 responded to at least 14 emergencies. Due to the storm and neighbors coming out to crews, calls can easily become overwhelming. However Station 11’s members handled themselves outstandingly. Just between the hours of 1pm and 5pm station 11 responded to the report of 2 Structure fires, a fully involved vehicle fire, Overturn motor vehicle, 2 lighting strikes, a gas leak, 2 fire alarms, electrical hazards, road flooding, and multiple water rescues of people trapped in vehicles in flood water. Thankful no one was injured on these emergencies and everyone was able to be reunited with their families.
